Not sure why this place is not #1 for pizza. I can only assume it is becauae it is a kind of “hidden”. It has a really cool ambience and a HUGE menu. We really enjoyed the 2 pizzas we got for, and the caesar salad had to die. We haven't had a salad in South America yet. The only proposal I would not get there at the opening because sometimes the wood-fired pizza oven is not completely heated. Always visit Mancora here.
The restaurant interior is gorgeous and you see a nice big wood fired oven on the way in. We ordered a pizza and a bruschetta to share. Thought it would be a very good pizza based on my impressions the name but definitely only average. The bruschetta wasn't great either.
We got an Americano pizza which came with cheese, ham, and to our surprise, rat poop! So yeah, watch out for deliveries especially.
Went back to this place after a few years and I was surprised that the quality had gone down significantly. I ordered the “Special Garlic Bread” and the cheese tasted like plastic. The cheese also let down my Diavola Pizza as the doh was actually still good. The Mojito was nice though.
