Cevicheria Jasusi - Máncora

The cheviche is good and fairly priced. But i think there is not much difference in the chevice places around the town. The waitress was bit hard to deal with maybe had a bad day but affected my whole eating experience.

Amazing ceviche, chicharrones and tacu-tacu... the location is a bit far from town, but not difficult to find, ask for directions! prices are really good for value, the place to go on Sundays, expect to wait a bit to be served, but is definitely worth it!

Agree with all the others, the ceviche is one of the best in the town. Great value and had a lovely local feel.m

Hidden gem outside of the main tourist spots along the beach...go with friends and order a few different platters to try it all! ps. if you take a tuktuk, dont pay more than 3 soles to get down there!

I had the picture that eating in Perú was a shure shot. Don't get me wrong, every meal I ate was at least OK, but I usually get better peruvian food in Santiago. My sample is not too big, I was not all over the country. I haven't been in Lima properly. But hey, if you put a feet in the ocean you are touching the ocean, ain't I? I got to Jasusi by a recomendation of green eggs and ham. how to get there? Just tell your mototaxi driver to get you there. A cheap 2 or 3 soles ride from pocitas. The usual bumpy, noisy, gas-aroma ride, but you'll be in a place that doesn't look too friendly. This is where mancorans breed and live, this is not disneyland for chrissake.The place... just 2 walls painted seafoam green with some branches and twigs as a roof/ceiling. plastic chairs, plastic eating surfaces, menus. I bet no one speaks english but it won't be too hard to make onself understood. The place is clean and so is the restroom.Ceviche is the thing here. It is seasoned brilliantly. Good size, fresh-fresh, tangy, balanced, and all the atributes a peruvian ceviche is. Way better than mancora's average, but also a beet steeper than mancora's average. Also some fried yuca (tapioca) to have a more balanced meal. Ceviche is just too healthy.I drank a couple of beers, greeted the efficient personnel and went back in the horizon to enjoy another day at the beach.
