If it was possible foe me to add 0 stars I would. This restaurant shares a similar name with another place in rahway NJ. I placed an order thinking I was ordering from Rahway, only to find out I made a mistake. I apologized to this restaurant goe the mixup as I was 45 mins away and couldn't pick up the food. Today o placed an order and when I arrived they tell me the food isn't ready bc it's best fresh. I have only a 30min lunch and couldn't wait. Theyvthen tell me the real reason why it wasn't made was because I had not picked up food on the past. If they had explained that properly I would have paid by phone. I don't appreciate the lies and I don't appreciate the easy they dealt with it. All they had to do is be honest and tell me they wouldn't prepare anything unless I paid upfront, not lie and have me waist my time. I am a nure.in the operating room and now I have a 10 hour shift and no food because of their actions. Terrible.

Okay and here we go, ask why it is so difficult for them to remain stable as they started. I waited a long time for them to open their doors and I told them to maintain the same attention to customer service and cuisine as they do to the flavor, the food, the quality, and no, it was not like that. At least not for me, as I am a fan of Peruvian food, no flavor at all, I had to complain for one rice and only one a la minute, the rice was very sticky, the soup was very greasy and full of tomato sauce!! More attention to that ' ' thank you

The place looks great, with nice, spacious seating. The ceviche was great, I enjoyed it a lot. However, the chicken quality was not good, the chaofan was salty and the Lomo was overwhelming with fries and rice and lacking severely in meat not to mention we ordered fish and steak Lomo. It was so cold inside our food got cold quickly. We were a party of 4 and everything came all at once. We kept our jackets on the whole time. Very disappointing since we asked to turn on the heating 3 times. Plus they charged 15% gratuity but didn't provide a great service for price given our bill. Definitely don't recommend but appreciated the company we had.

Had the opportunity to return to this treasure in the heights this time I got the invigorating soup called caldo de gallina. This is not your run of the mill chicken soup. This is a meal and made me feel like a million bucks and like I could shovel snow the rest of the afternoon. I was contentedly full the rest of the day.
