Przekaż informację zwrotnąBei unserem Luganoausflug wollten wir am Abend schön essen gehen. Wir hatten erst ein anderes Restaurant im Fokus, welches jedoch ausgebucht war. Wegen der interessanten Karte entschieden wir uns für das ,,Metamorphosis". Dies war eindeutig die richtige Entscheidung. Unser Platz an der Terasse wurde uns so zurecht gestellt, das wir einen Blick auf den See hatten. Da wir zu früh waren, nahmen wir einen Apero, dazu erhielten wir von dem freundlichem Service Chips und Oliven. Die Speisekarte ist nicht riesig, dafür sind gut ausgewählte Gerichte und Lebensmittel von hoher Qualität vorhandem (z.B. Imberikon).Wir entschieden uns 2x für das 5-Gangmenü für je 85.- und wurden überrascht. Nach 2 Amouse Bouche wurden uns die 5 Gänge serviert, plus einen Sorbetgang. Das Menü war spannend, abwechslungsreich und die Teller schön und modern angerichtet. Die einzelnen Komponenten ergaben bei jedem Gang ein fantastisches Geschmackserlebniss. So ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhälniss gibt es selten und wir wurden den ganzen Abend gut bedient. Ein guter Koch und ein tolles Team sind im Metamorphosis am Werk, wir sind begeistert! I and my man chose this restaurant to celebrate our 5 years high season day. we came from the usa and I can tell them that this place has not disappointed us. very beautiful location, near the lake and easy to find. we started the tasting menu of our...5 course cook from starters of the cook. it was mix of cheese in various variations deep fried, cream cheese, cheese truffle and refreshing gazpacho suppe. 1. our first tasting dish were amberjack ceviche with fresh mint, pfirsich and lemon sauce. it was absolutely lovely. 2.Then we had a creamy heaped pure and shaved with belèer knolle cheese. it was also one of my favorite dishes, because it was so creamy and i was a good supplement to this dish. also there were bona crumbs sweet to balance the pea pee. 3. Next paccheridi gragnano halves with oriental kalbs ragout. unfortunately this pasta was not my favorite. it was too al dente and I am not used to such a thick, uncooked pasta. we ask waiter and he confirmed that it should be. too much edgy overwhelmed the sose and it felt that they eat sneakers. but I absolutely loved calf rags, it was rich with aromen and very beautifully done. 4.Then our next plate was red medium sea thunfish with charcoal, teriyaki mayonnaise, gurke and swollen rice with seaweed. it was the best boiled tuna I ever tried. it was so tender and melted on my back. 5. Next was perfectly boiled duck with cries. I absolutely loved the duck, it was cooked to perfection! 6. before dessert earthy basilikum puree to refresh tasting buds and prepare on dessert. 7. Vanilla cheesecake with apricose and carrot sorbet with plumencomplete. 8. and complementary truffle selection from the chef to congratulate us with our jubilee. absolutely best jubilee meal. I also loved this service here was very open and beautiful. it was my first Michelin star experience and I did not feel snobbism, as in other restaurants in mailand for example. beautiful presentation, and all dishes were properly described in English for us, which is additionally plus, as my man does not speak Italian. absolutely worth the trip!
Amazing dinning experience was possible by cooking kitchens and menager gianluca, which gives us the feeling good thanks to the amazing eating and the professional wise to see and take care of a costumer! surely a place to be in our next vacation in lugano!
My wife invited me to the birthday in this restaurant. the ambiente is beautiful and stylish, maybe a little cold. the service is very young and not very experienced, had some good tips for the meal and wein, but nothing more and the waiting times. were too long. the chef seems to be a little arrogant and since the michelin gave his star across all borders. the courts are far apart from some homeopathic wagyu meat slices materials that have low basic costs, although dishes that cost a minimum 55 chf also in the Swiss when they exaggerated it with the purchase price of chf 3-7. all in all, a big depreciation like all other Michelin-starred restaurants in this city.
Had a reservation for 20:30 and once we got the service team there, and we gave us many suggestions, we decided to go for the 6 cursor tasting menu. without many words, I can say that it was one of the best experiences I had in a restaurant that was eating phenomenal and the gentleman serving has no single thing aswell. the restaurant has a magnificent view of the sea, which is more connected to the experience.
