Palm Palace Indian Resturant

The restaurant offers a wide variety of North and South Indian dishes. While the food is great, the service could use some improvement; at times the staff seem inattentive and overlook guests. Before the COVID pandemic, they were consistently attentive, but it seems that the decrease in diners has affected their service. I hope things return to normal soon. Overall, I really enjoy dining here, and I would appreciate it if they could bring back the music as well!

I stumbled upon this South Indian restaurant, which is conveniently located just over three miles from my home. The food was outstanding, and I really appreciated the clean ambiance. They offer a wonderful selection of Indian dishes, but I personally prefer the South Indian options, likely due to my taste for that cuisine. The service was decent, though it could use some improvement. I'm definitely eager to visit again!

There are many so-called Indian restaurants in the city, but so far, this has been the best one I've visited. It's the perfect place to enjoy fresh and tender chicken prepared with top-quality spices. I highly recommend trying the chili chili, butter chicken, and uttapam. You won't be disappointed!

There was a delicious dinner at the Palm Palace Indian Restaurant. The owner, Robert, commented that I always arrange the same, and I told him that I was concerned to try something new as I was not familiar with Indian food and its various spices . He listened attentively to my preferences and made suggestions that were perfect for my palate: vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala and palaak wiper. The only dish I didn't crash was my ordinary garlic naan. An adventure for the taste buds!

As soon as I walked in with my heat bag, a staff member approached me and rudely stated, “30 minutes, and if you don’t like it, go somewhere else!” I was taken aback by his rudeness. I hadn’t even said anything, and yet he began to speak to me in a disrespectful manner and then walked away. When I provided the name of the order, he repeated his dismissive remarks and continued being rude. I became upset and told him he needed to learn how to talk to customers. This was my second negative experience with him, and I made it clear that I wouldn’t be returning. I walked out and reported the incident to my delivery service. After reading various reviews, I noticed that many other customers cited experiences of racial discrimination and bias, which made me think about my own situation. I hesitated to think it was due to my being a Black woman, but I couldn’t help but notice that he didn’t treat others who didn’t look like me in the same manner. Just before I entered, he had a different tone with a white man who walked out. The man was a large, bald individual who acts as if he is superior to everyone else. I wouldn’t dine here even if I were paid to, as I value good customer service. Knowing he seems to harbor prejudices against customers of different races is not only frustrating but also ironic since he is of another race himself. It’s disheartening that a restaurant would treat its customers in such a way. As a delivery driver, I’m just trying to do my job, yet I felt like I was being blamed for the delays in their orders. The restaurant was completely empty at the time, and it might remain that way if they allow that miserable man to continue speaking to customers in such a disrespectful manner.
