Pizzeria Dalilí - Limon

I was quite surprised to find a pizza place in puerto viejo that offered a vegan cheese topping. The pizzas were okay although very mushy and dough y. Really good pizza and great staff. They can make any veggie pizza vegan by substituting the mozzarella for vegan mozzarella- a nice touch instead of leaving out the cheese completely. There was also vegan gelato but we didn’t have any. Lovely staff. Nice ambiance and setting.

Shared a veggie pizza with vegan mozzarella with a friend and it was incredible. We devoured the whole thing in one sitting and couldn’t find room for gelato. Such a nice place! Genuinely delicious vegan cheese that they don’t skimp on.

Could not enjoy this at all. The burnt flavour from the base overpowered any other flavours. Also not enough tomato sauce; just tasted very salty in general. One of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten. Updated from previous review on 2022-01-14

I thought their pizza was good, but not amazing. The crust did have a bit of a distinct, sharp taste but I didn't mind it. My partner got the pasta which is served in a bread bowl and she loved it, but only the basic spaghetti in red sauce is veganizable. The overall vibe is nice it feels classy but still tropical beach y. They had nice live music as well (this was Sunday evening in March). Not a fan of charging $2 extra for vegan cheese, and it's not super cheap to begin with, but the pizza can get you 2 servings if you're not starving.
