Grubbs Take Away - Leonia

Avoid this place at all cost. Horrible food and the owner is a psycho. He is mental and racist. I had complained about the food there and he told me to go back to my country and used derogatory words. I will avoid any weird things put into the food being served and be treated by a maniac owner of the shop by not going there. Save yourselves time and mental health by doing the same.

Edited after 4 orders. Still keeping the 2 stars, because they alternate between great and awful. First visit: Good burger diminished by lousy service. Ordered delivery via GrubHub. Order had an ETA of 44 55 minutes. After 80 minutes passed, we called to check the status and it still hadn't left the restaurant. They rushed it out, but my burger that was medium rare was now medium well, and the rare burger was past medium so it was sitting under a heat lamp for that extra hour. The lady on the phone claimed that the order had just gotten to them, even though they confirmed it with Grubhub over an hour earlier. The burger was tasty but I don't think I can trust them again with a delivery. BTW, the order was outside of rush hours (2pm). 2nd and 3rd visits: food was delivered a few minutes faster than expected, quality was good, everything as ordered. A solid 4 star experience. 4th visit: because of the good 2nd and 3rd visits, we have them another order. It was the same as the first. Ten minutes before the confirmed ETA they called to say that they were just getting around to cooking the order and it would be 10 minutes late. (It was 25 minutes late). Burgers were ordered medium rare and rare, they were delivered medium well and well done. This was also a 2pm delivery.

I get breakfast sandwiches from here. Always great. This place is average tho. I'm giving it 5 stars after reading other reviews complaining about how a burger with a 40 min delivery time wasn't good when it arrived. Burgers are best fresh off the grill. Of course it won't be cooked right after sitting in a to-go container for some time, ya dunce.

Yummy little take-away/delivery spot right down the street from home. Burgers are decent, shakes are amazing! Affordable and quick mom and pop burger joint.

I'm really confused about this place. First off I have to say that they are really having trouble getting their act together. Almost every single order that I've placed they've either forgotten something or gotten something wrong. I will say most of the things we've had on the menu have been pretty good especially breakfast except you can't get breakfast now because they open at 5 PM. Yes 5pm???? Everyone that's found out about this in town is completely confused by this. Are they trying to be a late night diner. The only time I've ordered from them was between 9 AM and 3 PM so I think they're really screwing themselves by not being open until 5 PM. I think they need to realize they are a breakfast and lunch place not a dinner place
