O'charley's Restaurant Bar - Lebanon

The section where we were sitting had two dirty tables that remained so for our entire visit. One had to be wiped and the other had to be driven. The carpet and the environment needed some attention from a cleanliness standard. Our server was nice and did a decent job. She gave us food recommendations. She was very slow at check. The food was the highlight. We had Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it was very good. We also had margaritas that were delicious. Cleanliness was down.

Food was amazing, service was excellent. They made sure we put ourselves in our backs, as we had kids to stay and enjoy our food. The prices are right and you can guarantee a full stomach and happy exit. Take is also good, although some work could use. Some times they come back to the car where you ask yourself if you have to go in.

We were immediately greeted as soon as we left, in which always is a good sign. The staff was very friendly and the food was hot and fresh. The prices were also very reasonable for the amount of food I received. It took a while until the food came for as few people as there was in the restaurant, but we were not in a hurry, so it wasn't a big deal. Total great experience!

This restaurant shows it's age. Walking in the dining room a smell will hit your nose, pretty sure it's the carpet, gross. Service was so so, I wanted to try the chicken tender wrap for lunch today but was told they couldn't substitute the pepper jack cheese on it for another kind. I replied, oh really? It's just cheese. In that case if I got the chicken sandwich could I get it without mayonnaise? To which I was told yes! I don't know if this is a corporate policy, or just an isolated restaurant policy, or maybe the waitress was just lazy. Whatever the reason, it was silly. While our entire parties food came out hot, my fries were definitely not hot (and my wife had fries on her dish too, but hers were perfect). The rolls were pathetic. Advertised on the radio as hot and buttery, these were definitely not hot, more like room temperature and flat. Anywho, I figured this was worth a 2 star rating. Haven't been to this O'Charley's restaurant (or any other location) in a while because I've always been dissatisfied with either the service or food. May be another few years before I try them again, no substitutions.

My experience was not pleasurable nor memorable. Very hard pieces in my meal. So much so, that I finished 1/2 a piece before giving up. I was concerned I would chip a tooth. Bartender told me it was breading. It definitely was not breading. There was something inside the breeding. I could not break it up pushing down on it with a fork, so I know my teeth didn't stand a chance. The bartender did not seem concerned, so we paid our tab and left. My gfs salad was enjoyable, hence the two star rating.
