Local Joe’s Cafe - Mount Juliet

I stopped by this restaurant for lunch while traveling for business, and I couldn't have been more pleased. I always make an effort to dine somewhere I can't experience locally, and this place exceeded my expectations. The food was exceptional and the service was outstanding. Multiple staff members checked in on me to ensure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend this spot for delicious Southern-style cafeteria cuisine.

Wow. This restaurant is fantastic, and you can tell just by how packed it was! The service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly, and I saw multiple employees helping those who needed assistance carrying items to their table. The food was incredible. I tried the Cajun dish (I can't remember the exact name, but it was similar to crawfish etouffee), along with spinach, black eyed peas, and jalapeno cornbread. My dad ordered ham, loaded mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, and cornbread. Everything was really delicious. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

I have eaten here twice in the last week. The food is delicious and the staff is AMAZING!! They go above and beyond to please their customers. I highly recommend!!

First time visiting, I ordered to go! The worker bee was very friendly and helpful! I got the cabbage, collards and sausage with peppers minus the rice. Hands down southern cooking and trust me I know southern food!! Y?all should go! Friendly atmosphere!

Family owned. Super friendly place. Great service and yummy food. Stopped by for lunch with my family and 2 kids. It was awesome. They even came out after we sat down to eat with a tray of cookies straight out of the oven.. Went around and offered them to everyone. Staff seemed genuinely happy to be working there. We cant wait to come back.
