Moe’s Soul Food Kitchen

Mr Moe was very pleasant and courteous. He offered me something to drink while I waited for my food. The food is cooked to order so it’s fresh and hot. I got the fried ribs and loved them. There’s a dipping the ribs and it delicious. I’ll definitely be going back.

First time coming to this Restaurant. I was in the mood for some good soul food, and I have to say I was not disappointed at all. The food was fresh cooked. The gentleman that greeted us was very sweet and welcoming. He was very sweet towards my kids and while we waited he offered us drink and would make conversation with us, which I had told him I was new in town and we had just come back from a day trip. My kids food, was good- chicken strips with mac and cheese, and my son had to have fries but crispy and he loved them. And of course they were extremely happy to see cookies ? with it. My food was so good and I have to say I would go back again and recommend it. I missed the entrance at first but once I noticed where it was and went in, their food speaks for itself. Thank you for your kindness and fresh food ?.

My friend turned me on to Moe’s I love it and the fried ribssssssss omggg for sure a winner ? u won’t regret it I will be going back and costumer service is GREAT!!!!??

Tried this place out on 3/23/23. My Wife had the smothered chicken over rice, black eyed peas, collard greens, and cornbread. I had the baked chicken, green beans, macaroni, and roll. My Daughter had just a side of collard green, and fried okra. My Wife said the peas were a little salty, but still good. My Daughter said the greens were good, but had a little heat to them. My chicken was very tender, and seasoned good, as well as the green beans. The macaroni, just was not up to my expectations. I really cook a macaroni, and even though it wasn't bad, it was not good. I started to post a pic of my macaroni, to show you what it should look like.The staff was very nice, and it seemed to be liked by a lot of people. While I was there, someone came in for dinner with their daughter, because the mother had it for lunch. I won't take any points off for the macaroni, but I would suggest making the macaroni sauce more cheesier, and topping with a layer of block cheese. I will probably be returning again.

So I got the veggie plate (fried okra, Mac and cheese and collard greens with roll), chicken sandwich (with fries), cornbread, chocolate chip cookies and coconut cake. The sandwich was very dry as the chicken patty had no flavor besides the flavor of the bun. The veggies were okay; the collard greens were not that good, the fried okra was decent but the Mac and cheese was underwhelming. The roll was basic. The corn bread was good. The cookies were very underwhelming, very sugary. Best part; coconut cake, I personally like coconut, but it’s great texture and flavor. The icing is overwhelming with sweetness but still great. Hoping everything was made in-house but not going here again any time soon.
