Las Tortas - Lawrenceville

I ordered the “Torta Texana” with grilled steak, bacon, bell pepper, and cheese, and it was really impressive and authentic. I also tried the “Flautas de Papa,” which are made with potato and Mexican sausage. I've never seen flautas this long—they're like two regular ones in one! I really enjoyed them. On the side, I asked for two tacos with pork cracklings in green sauce and Mexican rice. I've had “tacos de chicarrón” many times, but I’ve never had them combined with rice before, and it was fantastic.

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. You might want to brush up on your Spanish, but it's definitely worth the effort. I've tried the pollo asada torta and the carne asada tacos, and both were excellent.

Absolutely amazing food! The location, prices, and especially the cuisine are all outstanding! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the restaurant is clean and inviting. I can't recommend this place highly enough!
