Sehmi Restraurant - Langley

We are thrilled to have discovered a fantastic sushi restaurant in Langley. The rice is perfectly cooked, the tuna is fresh, and the tempura is light and crispy. The Agedashi Tofu is cooked to perfection with a light batter, and the sauce for the Spicy Agedashi Tofu is mouthwatering. The rolls are larger than usual, making it a great value. The online ordering system is user-friendly and efficient. Definitely worth a visit!

Although not an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant, the portions are generous and the food is well-prepared and flavorful. Dinners typically come with a serving of Miso soup as an appetizer and deep-fried ice cream for dessert.

I have had the luck and privilege of enjoying many different sushi restaurants. My friend recommended Seh Mi to my sister and I. It was a departure from my regular favourite sushi spot, but we went anyhow. I was completely wowed by the perfect sockeye salmon sashimi and nigiri I had. This restaurant claims to only serve sockeye salmon, which is awesome because it's the most delicious variety of salmon (in my humble opinion). The fish was incredibly fresh, perfectly sliced and an amazing colour. I also really enjoyed my scallop cone! The mixed tempura was delicious; not oily at all. My sister complained about her rolls being too larger they were admittedly rolled to a very large diameter, but I thought they looked awesome. The vibe was pretty nice, it was a clean place, and they brought a tasty little dessert on the house: deep fried ice cream balls. Very happy with my experience there.

I really enjoy California rolls, but I'm not a fan of raw fish. My friend and I love to eat at Seh-Mi, and one day she ordered the spicy tuna sashimi. I decided to try it and loved it. I ordered it again last night and it was just as good: a nice spicy flavor that isn't overwhelming, fresh and delicious tuna that melts in your mouth without a fishy taste. We also had some rolls and other dishes, all of which were expertly prepared. The service at Seh-Mi is excellent, with friendly waitresses and fast, accurate food delivery. It has become one of my favorite restaurants.

It surprises me more pple haven't taken time to write a review, as this sweet place is a gem in every way for Sushi lovers and is always busy; maybe everyone wants to keep it secret just for themselves; high quality, fresh Japanese food with a large menu to choose from, pleasant interior decor always great,fast, friendly service; we tend to favour more vegetarian style foods there's great choices, with beautiful presentation fabulous flavour! A must try...and write a review! One of our favourite places in Langley City for a value meal!
