Istanbul Donair - Langley

Awful..quite possibly the worst donair I have ever eatenVery very light on the beef(???)Tasted and looked like very dry chicken.

Just discovered this place a few months ago when we moved to the area.

Istanbul Donair Bookswood,Langley. There's a common thread that runs through every donair shop..it's the same kinda vibe that's in a hemporium shop

Was starving after doing a bunch of running around. New area for me, so checking out the various restaurants. A donair seemed like a great idea, so I stepped in to see what was going on. Not a big place and not very busy when I went in. But I soldiered on!! Donair was on my mind and that is what I was determined to have. The gentleman that was serving was very friendly and accommodating, and all of a sudden, I had my don air! Have to say they made it differently, but it was GREAT!!. Will definitely be back there for more excellent food.

I met with a business associate one evening last year here and was impressed with the quality of the food and the reasonable prices. Based on that experience I took my mother there for lunch and had an experience that in no way mirrored the experience that I had during my first visit. I'll chalk the experience during my second visit to the fact that we were the first customers of the day. While that shouldn't excuse distracted service and food quality that was less than what I had experienced the first time I was here I'll give it another try...but I won't rush back to do so.
