Empire Garden Chinese Restaurant

I went early for dinner (there was almost no one in the restaurant at 5:45 p.m. and was immediately welcomed by my server. After placing my drink order, she delivered an icy cold Kirin beer delicious because it was so cold. I added one vegetable Spring Roll which was served piping hot, straight from the deep fryer and crispy fresh. I followed that with Scallops and Prawns in a Peppercorn Sauce served on a bed of panfried, crispy spinach. The fish items were so fresh and wonderful, not chewy but melt in your mouth. It was a large portion which could easily be split between 2 persons. Very tasty! The only downside is that the main entree was at least 10% overpriced as compared to other similar restaurants in this area. But quality is high, and service is superb.

The best real Chinese food I have had out in the Fraser Valley. I cross the river from Maple Ridge as we have nothing that can touch Empire Garden. Nice staff and great food.

We went here for the Dim Sum. It was one of the best I have ever had. Service was good. Selection was Awesome and the Food was served hot and fast. Very tasty and fresh. Our new go to spot for Dim Sum.

If you want Chow Mein that tastes like soap, this is your place. If you want Egg Foo Yung that tastes (or even looks) nothing like Egg Foo Yung, this is your place. Without question, this is the worst Chinese food I've ever been served. Anywhere, any time. The food was so tasteless I thought maybe I had covid and had lost my taste buds...except the rest of my party agreed! Also, they failed to honor the 10% pick-up discount, even though my bill exceeded the minimum. They told me the discount wouldn't apply based upon the items I had selected from the menu. WTF is that all about? Finally, their website menu prices are out of date as the prices they charged me were higher than shown online. All in all, an extremely disappointing experience and a total waste of $50+. This is one case where I'm sorry to see this restaurant reopened after the lock down. If you're looking for Chinese food in the Langley area, give this place a miss, go anywhere other than Empire Garden. You won't be sorry.

The Chinese food was the best we have had in ages .We did go for Dim Sum but wasnt overly impressed.As far as dinner goes we have to travel a bit farther and out of our area but well worth the drive
