Przekaż informację zwrotnąFour of us came to celebrate an event. We had blackened chicken, pork bites, French dip, steak and scalloped potatoes, and fettuccini. The blackened chicken was the smallest piece of chicken breast I've ever seen on a restaurant dinner plate. It had to have been only half a breast (but it was tasty). The plate looked more like an appetizer size. The quantity for the pasta wasn't very much either. So we didn't order dessert and a couple of us went home a little hungry. Two of us had virgin caesar drinks which were a little weak. The drinks and appy took a bit too long to get to us but our server, Chelsea, was outstanding and did an awesome job!
Ordered online and paid, scheduled pick up for 6:30. Barely acknowledged at the door, it 's not ready, you can stand over there . Being passed by over and over by staff and managers with no one following up with me. Guy sitting at the bar ordered food to go and received his order within 10 minutes. As I type I 've been waiting 32 minutes. For a $100 order I placed over an hour ago. AND tipped 18% online for take-out. I 'm sorry, I just can 't do this relationship anymore. It 's not me, it 's you.
My wife and I hadn't dined here for five years and decided to give it another try for lunch around 1:30pm on a weekday. Door staff were friendly and the standard Covid precautions were undertaken. There is a small outdoor seating area, however it was quite warm and we decided to dine inside. Our server was very polite and efficient. I had the dynamiteroll as a starter which was quite tasty and a generous portion. For the main I had the Tuna Poke bowl which was good. Like our previous visit, it is still hard to gauge who the target audience is. It appears to try hard to appeal to the broadest range of diners and in the process succeeds in being yet another typical cookie-cutter mid-range dining experience like so many others in the Metro Vancouver area. While the overall dining experience was not bad per se, it never rose above average and in the current economic environment that is not good enough for us and results in three stars.
Stopped in on a Wednesday around 2pm for a couples lunch. We were only the 4th table seated inside. Staff were friendly from start to finish. Our server (Jenna? dark haired lots of personality chatty was very engaging. We ordered the dynamite roll yam fries to start. Both good portions very fresh. Then the lemongrass crusted ahi tuna salad the ahi tuna poké for our mains w/ 2 alto platas classic margaritas. Both dishes tasted great but the salad was heavy on the crispy noodles a very small portion of tuna (especially compared to my partners poké portion . Feedback noted by the server so that’s good. Cost was just under $100 before tip. Had a $25 gift card so that helped a little.
Service was ok, but food was overcooked, and portions way to small for price. Was really a big disappointment overall. Our friends had the same opinion about their meals, but didn't want to spoil the celebration.Thinking back on it we should have sent all the meals back. None of us will be returning.
