New China - Lakesite

I ordered the smoked pork and a few other items, and I absolutely loved it. The food was served hot and fresh, the rice was delicious, and the pancakes for the moo shu were perfectly thin. The staff running the restaurant were friendly and accommodating, providing helpful recommendations when I asked about other menu options. I highly recommend trying a variety of dishes at this restaurant.

The shrimp with white sauce was too salty for us to eat.

I recently tried New China for the first time and it will also be my last. I ordered the hugging with snowbsen, huh chow my, and a supper drop. Both chicken dishes were flavorless, even soy sauce couldn't improve them. The order was missing the snowbows I expected. The rice was dry and not fluffy. The only saving grace was the ovoid soup, which was hot and delicious.

It's our go to for Chinese. 15 miles away and literally the closest Chinese restaurant.

Was not happy with any of the food. Most of it tasted like plastic cheap frozen food. The fried rice was just yellow rice with 1 pea and 1 carrot in each of our containers. Chicken was very chewy, and crab wonton was watery and cream cheese tasted like it had gone bad. Unfortunately couldn't eat most of it and had to toss. We will not order here again.
