Deer Lodge – Mt. Fairview Dining Room

Excellent place to dinner in the opposite without killing her budget. the wine list was well thought out, the ambiente of an old lodge was great, and my waiter was up and very friendly. I highly recommend this facility.

Limited menu, but salmon and chicken dishes were excellent at a good price.

We love to give rave reviews, but this restaurant is a ‘no go’ for us. After exception experiences throughout the Canadian Rockies, this final restaurant was so disappointing from greeting, to service, to food quality, to value. It is a stone’s through from Lake Louise which may be why it pulls in diners.

Went to mt fairview dining room at deer lodge on 18.9.2022 service was superb friendly attentive we were given table by the window looking out to mt fairview next to mt victoria food was good standard competent beef ribeye at CAD37 as server mentioned was best value anywhere it was good..though I think server heard wrongly my order medium rare as medium..the steak was still very nice tasty moist not fibrous as medium.. potatoes, peppers, sauce very good. wife’s atlantic salmon was very good, ni cely charred flavourful not fishy..charred fennel was not good! potatoes zuchinni sauce excellent I ordered vanilla ice cream lemon sorbet..sorbet was good ..vanilla ice cream far too sweet! had a flat white ..not quite it… [hidden link]

Excellent eating, but generally a lot too salty. excellent service.
