Prime Barbecue - Knightdale

Today was our first visit to PRIME and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is very welcoming and everything was so clean! I was very impressed with the 2 employees that were cleaning tables, cleaning the sidewalks outside, and even keeping the trash receptacle spotless! Cleanliness is next to godliness as the saying goes. The bathrooms were beautiful and modern and also super clean. Now on to the food! OMG! I ordered the loaded baked potato with brisket and my husband got the brisket plate with BBQ rice and sweet potato salad. It was all so delicious. The baked potato was so big that it served as my lunch and dinner today. The brisket was so moist and tender too. The barbecue rice was also something new we hadn?t had anywhere else and was so good. The Mac and cheese looked good from what I could see on other people?s trays as we walked to our table. It?ll be what we try next time. And there will be a next time and very soon!!

We arrived just a few minutes before closing time and the place was about empty however the excellent level of customer service and the quality of the food served was as if it were just well into the swing of the day. The Food is Amazing! Everything was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Best BBQ in the area!

Excellent BBQ, some of the best I've ever had and by far the best I've had in NC! Definitely worth the wait and lives up to all the hype! The brisket is INCREDIBLE! Get it the way God intended, the fatty cut has beautiful marbling and flavor. Crazy good. Loved the pork too. Sides were good, my wife lived the Mac and Cheese but I thought it could have used a bit more sharpness. Loved the BBQ rice. Nice touch was the classic white Martin's sliced bread and the pickles and pickled red onions. The jalapeno sausage was amazing as well. I could go on and on, but stop reading, go there early and go experience the best BBQ in NC your self.

Prime is one of the best BBQ spots in Raleigh. The brisket is super moist and cut with a fork tender. My wife loves the pulled pork even though it?s not eastern vinegar style. All the daily specials are really good. Prices are higher but you can tell the quality of food is better. I?d take Prime brisket over the dry brisket if City BBQ any day

The best smoked BBQ brisket on the planet. Great staff, super clean, fast service the men's room could have been in a 5 star hotel. A staff member stopped at our table asked if we needed anything, then the owner came over to check on us. Mr. Prieto is a good Christian fellow a real gentleman.
