Spek - Jordaan

Bar Spek was a lovely place to spend my evening at. I am an American girl traveling alone and when I asked for the menu the staff informed me they did not have an English menu but if I needed help they would gladly explain it for me. After enjoying the Zucchini pizza the manger asked me for feedback and if I’d make any changes to it. I thought it was perfect the way it was, but I thought that was really awesome she asked! Highly recommend this place.

Excellent service, really friendly staff! The menu is extensive and good value and lots of veggie options. And I had a Mare gin and tonic with basil which was sublime. We went back three times!

This place is directly opposite where we were staying in Amsterdam and was recommended. Went for the first time and I would definitely go back. Really good food and great value with helpful and friendly staff. Go there !
