Its amazing love the atmosphere how chill it is and the views. the only thing that i disliked was there was guy cutting hair in the place???? so weird and they were LOUD. he’s ruining the vibe of the place as people are trying to work on laptops and this guy is chatting like he’s in a salon , i feel like this is conflicting with the concept of the cafe :

If you need a good place to read a book, or work this is a place for you. Chill atmosphere, and enough plugs for laptops. Their banana bread is also great, and there are some other vegan/vegeteren options on the menu.

Beautiful coffee spot amazing view of the IJ, Java island and the Amsterdam tower Friendly staff. Delicious vegan banana bread and decent coffee. Nice place to get work done or having a chat

Barmhartig has to be one of the coziest places I have been to in the Netherlands ! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, the cinnamon bun was amazing. I spent the day sitting at the window, working on my laptop and sipping capuchinos.
