The Brick Fire Baked Pizza - Hoboken

We were pleasantly surprised by our visit to this restaurant. We enjoy trying out new vegan spots and this one was definitely worth it. The vegan mozzarella sticks were huge and absolutely delicious. The garlic knots were tasty and the sauce was great. The vegan Greek salad was refreshing with a tasty dressing - can't wait to try their other salads. We ordered a large half vegan buffalo "chicken" and half "can't believe it's vegan" pizza. The appetizers were the highlight for us, although the pizza crust could have been better balanced. They have a full vegan menu and we are excited to come back and try more entrees. The restaurant is located on a beautiful street, perfect for date nights, with free parking on Sundays. They also offer plenty of gluten-free options and have a dog-friendly terrace at the front - a bonus for us!

I had higher expectations for this restaurant. I made a reservation for 4 on OpenTable and the pictures made it seem like a nice place to sit and relax while visiting my daughter from the city. However, I was surprised when I arrived. It looked more like a fast food pizzeria with all the cups and condiments on the counter and a busy pizza chef behind it. No one greeted us and the atmosphere was very cold. I think it's more suited for takeout pizza rather than a sit-down dining experience, in my opinion.

I was under the impression that this was a restaurant. I made reservations for four people on Open Table because the pictures made it seem like a nice place to sit and relax while visiting my daughter from out of town. However, I was shocked when I walked in and saw that it looked more like a fast food pizzeria, with beverage cans and sodas on the counter and a busy pizza man behind it. Nobody greeted us and the atmosphere was very cold. I suppose it's a good place if you want to order takeout pizza, but not if you're looking to sit down and be served. In my opinion.

I love this restaurant for their amazing vegan options. I was pleasantly surprised to see a fully vegan menu. The server was very kind and they even serve delicious free garlic knots. I tried both the vegan and non-vegan versions of the pasta and pizza and couldn't taste a difference. The atmosphere is average, but the food was incredible. I highly recommend trying the vegan cakes and the vodka penne pasta.
