Liberty Gourmet - Hoboken

There are very few delis and restaurants that I think highly of, but Liberty Gourmet is EXCELLENT and Sam is amazing. He always greets his customers with a great smile and remembers everyone's orders, especially the regulars. The food is always amazing and was my go-to place since 2015, pre-covid, during the lockdown and have been ever since. Liberty Gourmet is highly recommended. Needed a quick lunch and found Liberty gourmet on a delivery app. What I didn't know was how small the sandwiches are here! The roast beef sandwich was good but it reminded me of ones my Mom used to pack me for lunch. The roast beef was tender but the bread was underwhelming. The grilled chicken sandwich with roasted red peppers and american cheese was nothing to write home about. The prices of the sandwich also didn't match the portions. The positive news is it has quick delivery so if you are hungry you may not be full after eating but it will be delivered quick.

I ordered the Prosciutto Fresh Mozzarella off their new menu and it was amazing! They were so generous with their prosciutto serving and everything was really fresh. 10/10 will be ordering more often. Not to mention the owner is so accommodating and an overall kind man. Great experience.

This has been a go to for me for years. Deli meats are Boars Head and all of the sandwiches are great. The crew is courteous and the store is neat and clean. Highly recommend for a quick sandwich! I love the Cordon Bleu Panini
