Texas Roadhouse - Hixson

Unfortunately, the rest of the meal didn't live up to our expectations. Our food arrived within 20 minutes of ordering, but it was lukewarm at best. My medium rare steak was very rare, and my ribs were mostly bone with very little meat. My wife's steak was cooked as ordered, but was cold to the touch. Additionally, her shrimp was served at room temperature, which is a health violation. The manager came by to ask about our meal, but we decided to just say everything was fine to avoid confrontation. Since we were using a gift card, we didn't have to pay out of pocket for the meal. Overall, we were disappointed with the food quality at Texas Roadhouse and it may be a while before we decide to return.

I ordered a tasty steak at a reasonable price. The waitress was very professional and provided excellent service.

Why is it when you dine in it is so much better than what is served for takeout? If you don't ask for dipping sauce for o ion you don't get it. Food is not as good on takeout. Baked potatoes were small compared to what is served in house.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The catfish I ordered was delicious, as were the steaks my friends ordered. The blooming onion appetizer was tasty. The coffee was served hot and had just the right strength. The service was polite, although they only cleared our empty glasses and bread board when we asked. The steaks were all cooked a little more than we had requested, but only the one that came well done was sent back. Unfortunately, my sweet potato arrived after I had finished my catfish. Overall, it was a good meal with friendly service.
