Captain D's - Hixson

I had a fantastic meal with prompt service. The two pieces of fish were served piping hot and fresh, accompanied by coleslaw and broccoli. I really enjoyed it, and I appreciated that it was packed in a takeaway box, which was perfect for me.

I had to wait quite a long time for my food. I was okay with it, assuming they were preparing everything fresh. However, what I received were soggy, cold fries and small, cold chicken strips. I ended up sending it back and going to Zaxby's instead. I hadn't visited a Captain D's in many years, and I won't be returning anytime soon.

I enjoyed the food and brought it to my mom at the nursing home. Thankfully, I ordered a sandwich for her because the nursing home didn’t deliver her supper tray. When they finally did bring it, after an hour and 15 minutes late, the food looked like it had come from the garbage. At least she got to enjoy some hot fish!

Shrimp taste old and rubbery, I was suppose to have fish but it taste like chicken, coleslaw was great Mac and cheese was cold. This was the worst meal!!! If I could give no stars I would!!!

It?s the way they select the very best ingredients, like Wild Caught Salmon, and how they freshly prepare them: They batter and bread the whole muscle fillets by hand or season and fire grill them, each one made-to-order. Sides like the hush puppies or coleslaw are mixed and prepared from scratch every day in the restaurants. The Famous Batter Dipped Fish is hand-dipped into signature batter which they prepare in-house, every single day. The special, secret blend is so savory and perfectly seasoned and cooks to a crisp, oh soo delicious! The care they take doesn?t stop in the kitchen either. Whenever I go to Captain D's I'm Always greeted with a smile when I walk in. ???? I'm also Always served with pleasure when my order is ready. This is just a little bit of what makes Captain D's such a great place to eat at.
