El Pollo Loco - Hemet

I’m visiting family in San Jacinto from South Dakota, and I’ve become a huge fan of this restaurant! The food is fantastic, the staff are friendly, and the prices are reasonable.

I had an incredible experience thanks to an employee named Areli. She had a wonderful attitude and was incredibly friendly. Even with her mask on, her smile shone through and made a real impact. She definitely deserves a raise for her outstanding service! Areli truly made my visit unforgettable!

I had to stick to soup after some dental work, and fortunately, El Pollo Loco offers two varieties. On a rainy, chilly day, a warm cup of soup from El Pollo Loco was absolutely delightful. I tried a cup of each kind, and it turned out to be the most satisfying meal.

This is my second visit to this restaurant, and unfortunately, both times I encountered issues with my order. On this occasion, I received dark meat instead of white meat. While the order at the reception was correct, the food I was served was not. The quality of the food was clearly below the standard I expect from El Pollo Loco. The red salsa was nothing like it should have been, and the chicken was dry—when does dark meat ever come out dry? Overall, I am quite disappointed with this location. I'm sorry to say that I cannot recommend El Pollo Loco in Hemet.

I visited Pollo Loco and was quite disappointed with my experience. I ordered a pollo bowl and noticed that the chicken seemed like leftovers, unlike before when they would cut the chicken into uniform pieces for your bowl. There used to be a consistent amount of chicken, rice, and beans, but the quality of the food has dropped significantly. I would recommend avoiding this location.
