Peterson Winery - Healdsburg

I won't reveal my favorite wines here because I don't want them to become too popular. However, after three days of wine tasting in Dry Creek, this was one of only two places where I decided to join the wine club (the Zinfandel-only club). That said, I also purchase other varieties from them because their wines are exceptional. Moreover, the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and approachable. We often bring our friends who are visiting, just as we were introduced to this place about three years ago. Be sure to add Peterson's to your wine tasting itinerary; you won't be disappointed!

Fantastic selection of wines! This was our first stop of the day, and nearly everything we tried was impressive, which is rare. The staff was very friendly and engaging, and the Direwolf at the entrance is super welcoming. It's definitely a good idea to make a reservation!

My favorite wines! They are all delicious. The Petersons are wonderful people, and I always have a great time when I visit. Jan is fantastic. Thank you all for the amazing wines and for being such cool people!

We visited Peterson shortly after it reopened due to COVID, and our experience was outstanding. We had a personal interaction with Jamie and his father, who both craft the wines. They were exceptionally courteous and very well-informed. We gained a lot of knowledge about winemaking through our discussions with them. This winery truly prioritizes its customers' safety and overall experience.

We picked up a case of the Mendo Blendo Red Wine, which changes each year based on the harvest, and I've always been pleased with it. I've been visiting Peterson since the 1980s, and their Ed Peterson wines are excellent. Just a heads up: Google Maps may not direct you correctly to the road that leads into the family wine complex. Be sure to look for the signs along Dry Creek Road that point the way to Peterson and other wineries.
