The meal was served in time and the service was quick and friendly. Most customers when I visited were tourists. The restaurant was busy and many people obviously had their meal and ambience. Service was provided in English and management was cautious to ask if the meal was good I was happy to confirm it was!
Vietnamese-style fusion restaurant. Fabulous foods. Inconsistency in their service standards every time I visit there can be improved.
Amazing Food. Great hospitality. Stuffs are always smiling and eager to help you. We did not know how to prepare certain food which were open. The lady showed us. Her name was Nim if I recall correctly. A bit costly. They served us complimentary desert as well!
We ended up in Porte D'Annam on our last night in Hanoi, after discovering that its sister restaurant Madame Hien was full. The interior was less inviting, although less elegant than Madam Hiens showing some signs of the bar it used to be. However the food was delicious, and beautifully presented. We started with pomelo and grilled prawn salad, followed by a trio of satay (beef, chicken, prawn we had to request more sauce). We then shared a main of pork in multiple forms, served with mixed veg and steamed rice. It was not a cheap meal, however the portions were good and we left well satisfied.
Recently had a lunch set there. I had come here a few times years ago, and wonder if this place was now under new management. The Cuisines is now rather fusion; in the past was very traditional Vietnamese food, which I like it more.
