Won - Gibsons

Most restaurants on the coast are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, even during the very busy tourist summers. We were happy to find somewhere open that wasn't pub food. The atmosphere was really good and although there seemed to be not enough staff on duty, waters were dropped off right away. Once we ordered from the extensive menu, the food arrived not long after and looked amazing and tasted great. Was impressed by the variety and presentation as well as the taste and quality.

My wife and I had Won on my birthday this past week and as always it was spot on amazing! She had the Chicken Teriyaki Rice and I had Beef Yakisoba. Everything was really hot and fresh and immensely tasty. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys stir fry!

Absolutely wonderful food and service. The sushi chefs were very quick in creating the maki and getting items to customers. The food was fresh and delicious. My one note is that the sashimi is sliced too thick for my taste and so I prefer not to order it here. The thick slice makes each bite more about texture than taste and it's not pleasant in my mind (clearly not an issue for most as it was packed full and orders were flying). The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are incredibly polite and accommodating.

We order several rolls. Sushi was fresh (the raw fish ) but all fell apart easily. There is no flavour in the rice as they do not put enough vinegar in it.

I ordered a Bento Box A. Large portions. The ambiance is good. We received a complimentary dish/sample. Parking is behind the building, or on Shaw. This place is attached to the Convention Centre hotel. Open concept seating-not a lot of privacy.
