You can easily spend hours on their expansive farm without getting bored. A self-guided tour takes you around the farm to learn about the beer-making process and discover unique features like a chicken coop. There are plenty of seating areas, an orchard, greenhouse, berry farm, and even a bookstore to explore. Additionally, there is a food truck and various snacks available, including local ice cream. In addition to a wide selection of beers, there are also many cider options to choose from. We enjoyed the tasting flight and purchased several beers to take home, taking advantage of the flat discount offered by the staff. Overall, we had a fantastic time at Persephone.
What a beautiful setting. I feel like we were at someone's home farm. Totally relaxing and chill vibe. They have a great selection of beers and ciders. The food menu is simple and has something for every diet.
Hey I am in Gibson and why not drop by at Persephone. I ended up coming back twice within a week while I was staying in Gibson. I dropped by and picked a few cans of beer. I got the Stout, Berline Weisse and Brewer Choice Lager for B to try. The Berline Weisse was a miss for sure. He didn't really like that one. Out of the three that I got he really liked teh Brewer Choice Lager. It had a light refreshing flavor. The stout was not bad but also not like special. The prices of the 4 tall cans ranges from $12 to $20. We also walked around the area as well. They have a chicken coup and a nice area to sit and relax. There are free parking on site but the parking lot was very small and it was not paved. I am sure I will be back again another time.
I highly recommend trying the black lager at Persephone - it's one of my favorites! I recently visited this charming brewery during a birthday weekend getaway and it was a fantastic start to our day despite the rainy weather. The staff was friendly and the merchandise was adorable - I even ended up buying a tuque. My boyfriend and I both opted for flights so we could sample a variety of beers. I particularly enjoyed their cider, which was refreshing and easy to drink. Although they weren't serving the black lager on tap, we purchased some to enjoy at home. The cozy atmosphere at Persephone, with its comfortable couches, wooden tables, and record player, made me feel like I was at a friend's house. I can only imagine how lively this place must be in the summer, with its barn-style doors open and outdoor seating area with a pizza oven. I will definitely be returning in the future!
I loved everything about Persephone! The large selection of beers, the beer itself, friendly service, great soundtrack, the food! I had pulled pork sliders which were delicious and large. My favourite beer was Oktoberfest. Also some very nice dark beers right now. They currently have a mandatory mask policy so you need to wear a mask in line. Lots of seating both indoors and under various tents/structure throughout the property. Such a cool spot. Can't wait to come back!
