Mike's Place - Gibsons

I had a great time at Mike's Place when I stopped by for a sweet treat! I had a hard time deciding which flavor to choose because they all looked so good. The ice cream was smooth, creamy, and absolutely delicious.

I love this restaurant because it offers everything you need for a quick meal or even some general store items. They have delicious ice cream, and I appreciate the fact that there is no tipping option. I don't see the need to tip anywhere except at restaurants, where servers go above and beyond their regular duties.

During the summer, cold treats are a must, and gelato is the perfect option for a hot day. This small shop offers over 40 different flavors of gelato. One unique aspect is how they display the gelato to match each flavor, such as having Ferrero Rochers on the Ferrero Rocher flavor and Kinder Surprise toys on the Kinder Surprise flavor. It's adorable! Among the flavors I tried, the most intriguing was the wasabi flavor, which had a slight kick to it. I also enjoyed a delicious earl grey gelato in a waffle cone, which was a nice touch since there was no extra charge for the cone. Don't forget to visit this shop when you disembark from the ferry!

Best Gelato in BC. It's homemade and the owners are lovely people. Definitely a must visit if you go to the sunshine coast!

Unfortunate to see other's had a negative experience here. We were served by a teenage girl who let us try a few samples and seemed knowledgeable about the ice creams and told us her favourites. I got black currant and (local tea maker's earl grey (both fabulous! and my boyfriend got moose tracks, peanut butter cups and tiramisu (YES, a three scooper! The dude loves ice cream . It was much cheaper than most ice cream places and suuuuper delicious! If only it was sunny that day : ..
