Excellent tasting card with 7 oriented (tuna, espada, otopus, marinated sardine, leber, calf, sweet potato). Note that this can handle more than 1 person easily. the staff is friendly and helpful.

I was visited as many different places on madeira as possible but came back to this. Why? an excellent service, delicious eating (watch the garlic bread) and wonderful fado.

Excellent eating, but a meal was cold, reheated, while all others ate! no compensation that is damaged

We were here as part of a restaurant hopping food tour and we liked traditional eating. we would go back for a meal.

Here twice during the trip with a group of friends. that were our favorite dinners of the journey so far. the personal is very friendly, the live music is unforgettable, and eating is tasteful. we ordered several of the same dishes to compare in other restaurants, and venda da donna maria was far superior. if they try to decide where to eat in a very tourist part of the city, choose this place. it is fantastic.
