Trigal - Funchal

Sunday evening, so very busy time, but not too overcrowded. The staff were very helpful friendly. The fish was delicious and large portions were served with a free glass of Madeira at the end of the meal. The only complaint was that we were charged 4 euros for tap water. our fault for not checking the bill properly before paying.

We chose for convenience and were surprised and pleased by the quality of the food and the service. Grilled sea bream was delicious and perfectly prepared, paired with a lovely salad and baked potato. Discount made the meal very affordable. We highly recommend.

Great food overall especially the grilled espada. The bacalhau was very salty (and i eat pretty salty in general, apparently according to staff, this is normal.
