The Barn At Smith Farm - Falmouth

The atmosphere, the staff and the elder prosecco were from this world!

Here with a group of business partners and employees for an early dinner. Beautiful old barn with a huge outdoor terrace along with a large open courtyard with picnic tables. Cornhole and fire pit running around the backyard with chickens and chickens. It was the perfect place for us as we had supplied drinks and many appetizers to picnic table that we chose in the lawn. Service and food were both excellent.

Reservations not required, but are suggested. Woodfire pizza was the big draw for us. It is a separate business, but the restaurant has a cheese or pepperoni option on the menu. When you call in an order for pickup, many other toppings are available. We chose the chicken and corn egg roll cup with honey mustard sauce. Served cake hot, 3 egg rolls... half cut each time, large tasting plate for several people. It was delicious. We also ordered a paprika pizza, typical wood fired pizza, great crust, little Char. A few bubbles, sufficient cheese, a little greasy through the peppers.... The menu has a few vegetarian options, poultry, pork and seafood...Don't notice beef. We were too full for dessert, but they had a separate dessert menu that we rejected. The hostess and waitress were friendly and helpful. Old barn interior with some interesting lights and chandeliers. Beautiful detached deck for outdoor seats with beautiful views. They have fun goats on the side of the restaurant... they always seem to get up when I'm passing. Enter, not sure if they are part of the restaurant. They close in autumn as they have no heat in themselves, so the date is flexible. Parking small, so if it is a busy night and meet friends you might want with the pool. Definitely back.

Food, drinks and service are always great. You can sometimes be overwhelmed with customers, so if the parking lot is hard, bring your patience with you and be kind to the staff.

We love this place. It's the perfect balance for us, we can have a quiet date night on the deck and have a great water view. Or we can bring the kids and they can run off and explore watching the farm animals. It makes dinner more exciting and a great place to go during a pandemic. Food is incredible and I highly recommend the chicken egg rolls, brussel sprouts app and cheese platter! You won't be disappointed.
