I had a mushy Luke warm pizza for $30. I asked and offered to pay for extra artichokes if they crisped them up in the oven but they gave me like warm mushy not crispy artichokes. I had a pizza here once that was amazing. I’ve come back twice with lackluster results. I will never come back. They had one home run and two massive fails that were expensive to pay for. Portland Pie needs to work on consistency from cook to cook so that I can get a good pizza every time Update… I asked the waitress to give me a bill. Apparently she told the manager that I was upset. He sat down next to me and AGGRESSIVELY said, “I heard you wanted to talk to me” I signed my bill with a 1000% tip (no exaggeration) I left the disgusting pizza and walked out.
We had reservations for 4 last evening. We were promptly seated. Wasn 't crowded at all but from the moment she arrived our waitress hurried us through. She kept returning to the table to ask if we were ready to order. We were meeting friends so there some initial small talk. We ordered an appetizer and then between us we ordered 2 10 pies a calzones and 2 entree sized salads. The waitress brought everything at the same time..there were too many plates for the table and it was impossible to get to the appetizer so it pretty much went uneaten. I was really annoyed that the food was all brought together creating an uncomfortable dining experience. As for the food, the cheese pizza was exceedingly greasy ; the caesar salad greens were wilted. The other pizza and an entree sized garden salad were fine. Throughout the entire meal the waitress kept returning to hurry us along. When I complained about the overcrowded table and the appetizer she just mumbled about the kitchen being fast with orders. I suggested in the future that she put in the appetizer order first so people could enjoy it BEFORE the main courses arrived. This is the 1st time I have felt the need to complain about our experience at Falmouth Portland Pie. I 'm hoping that the young lady in question was new and nervous and that this is a very rare occurrence at Portland Pie.
I love portland pie pizza. This was my first time ordering delivery from falmouth location through aloha ordering system. Pizza delivery was promised at 6:30pm. Called store around 6:50pm to get status update on the delivery. Was informed that a 3rd party takes deliveries and there is no way for store to locate once order has left the store. Employee was polite. Was informed that the pizza probably left the store at 6:30pm. Spent almost $30 on the order. As of 7:15pm, no delivery made. Had to find alternative dinner plans. Hopefully I will be reimbursed.
Take out. Slice of pizza. COLD. SOGGY, disgusting, and it wasn't like I drove home, I opened the box before I was out of the little Mall area, MAYBE 3 min after it was boxed. Tossed the thing. Gross. I thought the state regulated the temperature of items in heaters? Either this was OFF or they have never been inspected. The crust was obviously a pre-made shell...could have come from the grocery freezer isle, inedible. Never again. IF I go back to PP, it will be Scarborough only (near Cabelas). Nope. Gas station pizza would have been better. YUCK.
Stopped by for a late lunch with my adult daughter and my Service Dog. What a wonderful experience. Marilyn, our server, was wonderful and fell in love with my Service Dog Barney. We had the Buffalo chicken sandwich, we split it, and a medium pizza, well done. The food was delicious and the pizza was cooked exactly the way we like it. We will definitely be going back there again, soon.
