Yi Sushi - El Cajon

This is an amazing sushi spot. everything is fresh and crisp. the food was nice when it was delivered. we loved the shrimp tempura roll, spicy tuna roll and spider roll. my family and I will be customers forever!

I usually get lunch here once or twice a month. I order the sushi lunch special, which is delicious, but I have a concern about the menu on their website, and the explanation I received from the hostess. Around 12:40 a.m., I placed an order over the phone at their Rancho San Diego restaurant location. On the Yi Sushi website, it stated that my menu item- sushi lunch special was $10.50. When I spoke to the lady who answered the phone, she said it was $13.00. When I arrived at the restaurant, I explained it to her again. She said that if I showed it to her what I was referring to, and it was $10.50, she would honor the price. I showed her, on my phone, where her website showed $10.50 for the lunch special. She said that that was an old menu that the public must have added. I said no one can access and change your website but you web account administrator. It appears to be false advertising. She still charged me $13.00 saying that I ordered the sushi regular- which is the same as the lunch special Amazing! Due to the untruthfulness of this discussion, I may begin looking for another sushi restaurant.

This is the only place I go for Sushi, unless someone else invited me to go somewhere else. My go to order is the Sashimi Deluxe, Sake roll, the Tripo Hako.

Gas station quality sushi at best.Used to go here a couple times a month before the plague now it's takeout only.Last week will be last time ordering from them. Ordered 5 different rolls and all 5 rolls we're almost exactly the same. Fake crab salad, avocado, cucumber some sort of foul smelling fish product. As soon as I opened the tray I should have tossed it in the trash, it had that pungent old ammonia fish smell. Ended up my dinner.
