Silva's Taco Shop - El Cajon

Silva's is the most amazing Mexican food! I love the combo #9 with 2 shredded beef tacos, rice and beans. The green sauce is out of this world, and the red has just enough heat! Rosando who works there is able to light up the room with his smile!

So good!. I don't know why silva's doesn't have better reviews! my fiance and i tried this place the other night, and it was great. the fish burritos were huge and flavorful. the fish tacos were amazing too. the shrimp quesadilla was good, but there was a little too much empty tortilla. i ended up with a quesadilla half the size once i was done cutting off the parts that didn't have any filling. it was huge to begin with though, so i ended up with a still pretty decently sized quesadilla. the woman at the counter was super sweet too. plus, if you spend $20 you get 5 rolled tacos for free. and they accept cards. i liked it a lot, and the leftovers the next morning were just as good!

Pretty good Mexican food place. It's a small lil place but service was quick. It is a little expensive but portions are very big

We stopped by Silva's last night for takeout ahead of the TPHS vs Granite Hills girl's lacrosse game and loved the food and great service! What a gem, highly recommend this spot for authentic Mexican food!
