One can't notice the difference between the menu the service on the other seems to be much better. The front staff is very helpful and not to mention cheerful. On a Friday evening we wanted to try everything so we opted for the family meal; half lemon chicken, half barbecue, a full slab of ribs, pizza, and a side order of Alfredo pasta. The salad and breads sticks were served first. We chose ceasar salad and clawed our way to the bread sticks. One can probably do an entire review on the bread sticks. It was freshly made and it was buttery moist. It actually melted in mouth, that is just how good it was. The pizza was good as well. It was a lot of food for five people. Overall it was a great experience. The highlight of the evening was the unlimited bread sticks. We are definitely going back.
I used to love coming here because I worked at the mall. It was great food but now, I don't know what happened. Look at the wings, I cannot believe how nasty they look and taste. My salad's dry chicken was gross as well. Not ever coming back.
This review is for Tyler and staff that serviced us on my wife's birthday. What they did today was amazing and Tyler went above and beyond. The customer service here should he taught at other places, whether dine-in, fast food or retail. Give Tyler a reward! He went above and beyond and deserves 10 stars for his service today. We'll probably be back in the future, Lord willing. Good Job, Tyler!!
We will Never eat at Parkway plaza o's American kitchen again. We grew up on pat and Oscar's in encinitas, my sister even worked there for awhile. Later we would go to mission valley location when we lived in city heights. We now live in santee and thought we'd give parkway plaza a try. The lady that took our order seemed bothered she had to help us. And then later was to the side on her cell phone. I ordered a chicken parmesan. It was dried out and the bottom was burnt. Pasta and sauce was bland. We weren't offered a breadstick when first coming in, like normal pat and Oscars/ O's American kitchen tradition... which actully was no big deal since the bread sticks that came with our meal were just as dried out as my chicken. Looking to go to mission valley location to try and redeem the experience we had from parkway.
This place has something for everyone. It's convenient and the portion sizes are huge. The pasta bowls are amazing and you'll definitely have leftovers. This place really puts a spin on home cooking and you won't be disappointed. The location offers indoor and patio seating. You place your order at the counter and they bring it to your table. For those with kids, this place is family friendly and they make it a point to bring the kids' food out as quickly as possible. And to top it off, I have always had service with a smile-which goes a long way. I will say, I'd give this place 10 stars if I could because they also offer carside to go! Check it out!
