Mal Al Sham - El Cajon

My partner and I spent two days in town and we dined here both days. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious! The staff was friendly, the food was great, and the prices were reasonable. Thank you!

I visited this restaurant for the first time with my daughter, and we decided to sit outside. I would definitely go back to explore more of the menu, as there are plenty of food options to choose from. However, the service left a bit to be desired. Although the restaurant wasn't busy and our food arrived quickly, we felt neglected as we waited quite a while for someone to check on us after our meal. That said, we did enjoy the food. We ordered several appetizers to share, which turned out to be more than enough for us. I highly recommend trying the fried kibbeh!

Wow, this place is amazing! The food is incredibly fresh, the portions are generous, and the flavors are truly authentic. I absolutely love it!

Great quality, delicious food! I think here is a falafel sandwich quite often. the appetizer tablet that they make is wonderful for their own dinner or to share on a party! this is nice staff!

I came in for lunch take out and was greeted by the friendly staff, Sam the manager took my order. He was courteous and efficient. I ordered Tabbouleh, Hummus, and three skewers of Beef Kabab. The total amount was only $21.08 They also added 2 big pita bread with it. The portions were good for 3 people for what I have ordered and the food tasted delicious. Very fresh, tasty a total authentic Syrian food. I enjoyed my lunch today. This is my third time to order food at this restaurant and I haven’t been dissatisfied with the food or service. I waited to write a review until today to see if the food quality is consistent from my perspective. Thank you for being one of the best restaurants in East County San Diego. Keep up the good work!
