Jack In The Box - El Cajon

The customer service is on point. Food is always made fresh and hot. My order is always correct.

Jack in the Box the staple food in everyone's life, one time or another. 10 yrs at least since eating here. Still taste the same, .99 cent taco's are 1.39 now for 2.

I visited this restaurant early on a Sunday morning, and Paula, the manager, took my order while I was at the window. I ordered a Breakfast Jack and a combo with coffee. Typically, I might have a sandwich missing, but she managed to get everything right and even asked if I needed ketchup. She was extremely polite. When I returned to order six more Breakfast Jacks with hash browns for my family, she still remembered everything perfectly and provided a good amount of napkins, making sure to ask if I needed any sauces. At that point, there was a line of cars, yet I could see her effectively communicating with her team and checking the charts on the walls. Despite the rush, she remained patient and courteous. That’s what great customer service looks like!

I was able to pick up my order quickly. I had ordered the Jumbo Cheeseburger, and there was only one customer ahead of me in line. One of the two restrooms was clean as well.

I'd recommend the El Cajon location over the Spring Valley one. I tried to revisit Spring Valley, but the fryer was out of order. While I found my classic buttery jack burger to be a bit underwhelming, I really enjoyed the fries and the spicy chicken sandwich. My wife keeps going back for the sourdough jack. I also appreciate the simplicity of their tacos for a quick snack.
