Great American Land & Cattle - El Cajon

No bad place for lunch or dinner. I went at 2:00, and it wasn't too busy, but the food took a long time to get to the table. The bread we got was pretty good, but it wasn't hot. Our server was prompt with beverage refills and things like extra Bbq sauce. The food was pretty good, my pulled pig on my bbq tray was dry like white sand, but unlike I had no complaints. Not selling that food was worth the price, but I had a good time. The best thing at the table was my daughters chicken finger.

Great steak and fantastic service. My waitress was always a step ahead of me, treated me like a royal. Be careful with small things like getting extra butter or a preemptive refill. The ribbed eye tasted good. The loaded baked potato was not everything to write home, but I did not come for the potatoes and everything else was fantastic. The restaurant was also very clean with living decor and works of art.

After so many years my wife and I came back to El paso to visit. We've been eating at the Great American Steakhouse for years and this was our first time to eat again in this place. Oh wow, food and service still great. We ordered the 20 oz T-bone steak and it is perfectly cooked so delicate and juicy. This steakhouse is one of the best steakhouses I've eaten. Food and service is excellent. The portions are huge and the price is appropriate. I recommend 100% of this place.

Great steakhouse. Great drinks. They have special areas for couples and more than enough. Appropriate prices. Very friendly and competent staff.

Had the Peach Horchata liquor drinks they were both really good, real fan of the Peach drink. Had the green hatch chili soup, highly recommended. the strawberry great American salad was super delicious as well. Entree we had a sirloin, I a steak burger, great American doesn’t disappoint!
