Colima's Mexican Food - El Cajon

I was told to try Colimas. The food was awesome. Will be back this weekend.

During my visit on 10/13/22 I ordered the Caldo de Res and it was a total disappointment. It was a big bowl with soggy vegetables and the amount of beef was pathetic. There were a total of 4 small fatty pieces of beef. The broth was bland and not worth the $14 dollars I paid. I will never order that item again and would not recommend it to anyone either.

The man behind the counter is really nice, and got our food out very quickly. The fish burrito was good, but the shrimp ceviche tostada was even better. The portion sizes are quite generous. No nonsense, authentic Mexican cuisine 10/10.

Best hole in the wall mex food in east county. Your money is well spent here. Trust the people here. Best food best quality. thanks yall
