Ali Baba Family - El Cajon

I have been eating here for over twenty years. The dining room is open now, kinda miss the curtains. It’s a must for any large family gathering. We needed service for 12 adults and a few small children and got the Feast for 7. Everyone had a second helping and plenty of left overs. If you’ve never had a take out order make your car beep cause it thinks it needs a seat belt you need to try this place!

The entrance is really cute with ethnic tapestry and artwork it transports away from the busy city life. I went on a Sunday around noon and it wasn't busy. There is plenty of free parking. The food was nit spicy which is great for my IBS. The portions are big and the bread is huge. I ordered a half order of an entre and was not able to finish it. Dietary restrictions: It wasn't spicy which was great for my IBS. The rice was subtle. The beef chunks weren't overly seasoned and contained no heat producing spices nor black pepper that I could tell. Kid-friendliness: There were families with children dining in they have juices on their drink menu and French fry options. Wheelchair accessibility: ADA accessible

Food was amazing, service was amazing 10/10 recommended!! Will definitely be back on my next trip to SD area! Thank you for a great lunch

Food and service always amazing. Recommend the Feast for 4, so much food. Usually, eat there, but even take out is still great.

The feast for three people have a lot of food and ask for picked turnips.
