Tops Diner - East Newark

By far the best restaurant in Newark I found out. The food is super good, restaurant is newly renovated, huge parking. Most of the time its packaging and reservation is highly recommended. We went to the tops for a Friday dinner. It was almost full, but we were lucky. We loved the newly renovated modern look of the restaurant. The things we ordered, like frits, chicken teeth, roast beef sandwich, chicken and shrimp engumbo, were so delicious. It was amazed to find such quality food in Newark. In any case, tops visit more often.

This was my first time dining in the restaurant since the renovation, and I was impressed by the elegant design and spacious layout. The waiter service was excellent, and the drinks were fantastic. The DJ's music was on point, creating a lounge-like atmosphere. The food was good but could have used a bit more seasoning. Overall, a great experience.

Brunch at Tops is always fun and delicious. The servers are friendly and attentive. The food quality is good and tasty. Pretty busy at weekends, so it is advisable to make a reservation about yelp before over. The layout of the restaurant is wheelchair-friendly and family-friendly. Very recommended.

This is probably the best diner I've ever been to NJ. The food was amazing. The service was great. Our waiter was knowledgeable and had great suggestions: His name was Chris. My friend and I went on a Sunday night and it was Popping! There were loud house music in the background and it was super upbeat? almost like a nightclub. There was no long waiting time and the food came out pretty fast. We sat at a table instead of a stand and the seats are super comfortable? no need to ask for a stand when you come. We had a great time and will definitely come back.

Our last minute decision on the way to the airport to visit TOPS was the best decision ever. EVERYTHING we ate and drank, was delicious. From the Mimosas, to the freshly squeezed OJ, all the way down to the fresh pressed Coffee. The most enlightening part was our Hostess Karla (or Carla) she recommended the best dishes (Corn-beef Hash, Chicken Waffles, Blueberry Pancakes) and she was just a pure delight. I?d recommend visiting this diner if you?re ever in the area.
