Had dinner recently at the Hotel. Food well prepared but not consistent throughout the group. Honest pub food that could use some work.
I haven't eaten here for over 3 years. We decided to eat here again on a whim. Really disappointed . There were no wow items on the menu. A lot of the flavour combinations were a bit too odd for me. Not a fan of fruit and savoury combos. The food was edible and I am sure that some people love coming here and have menu favourites; we just found it all rather unimpressive. I had the green olive and chorizo arancini. There was nothing Olive or chorizo about it. I always hope when I have a bad experience like this that we have just been on a bad night. Let's hope this is the case for this one.
We have been visiting the bank for dinner once or twice a month for a long time and I have NEVER had a bad meal here. Each time the menu changes I have a hard time trying to decide what I want to try first! The food is amazing, The staff are always lovely and helpful to us and our children.
