Locks - Dublin City

We were presented with a choice of a 2 or 3-course menu starting at an incredibly reasonable price of €23, along with special options for starters and mains. The food was exceptional, and everyone in our group was impressed by the taste, flavor, and presentation. The staff were attentive and incredibly helpful, especially when it came to my gluten-free needs. They really went the extra mile; when some in our group ordered extra sides to share, the staff provided me with gluten-free versions or informed me of what I could safely choose. It's clear that they prioritize high-quality ingredients and careful preparation. The food was truly five-star without any pretentiousness. Overall, it was a wonderful place, and I will definitely be returning!

The starters and mains were beautifully presented, featuring a flavorful roast squash paired with tangy goat cheese and delicate nut flakes. The rabbit terrine was exquisite, and the duck was immaculate, served with rich beet purée and roasted carrots. The staff were friendly and genuinely enthusiastic about their work—perhaps a bit overly attentive, but that’s the closest thing I can find to a criticism. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a relaxed ambiance and elegant yet unpretentious food that truly impressed. We were really disappointed that we couldn't fit in dessert, but now we have a great reason to return! This was probably the best meal we’ve ever had, and it was an incredible value for the quality. Don’t miss out on this place; you won’t be disappointed!

The food is incredible, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff are truly exceptional! I adore them all! It's definitely one of my favorite spots in Dublin!

I've been a regular through the years, through each incarnation. I enjoy Locks now more than ever. One of my favourite places to eat.

Really enjoyed my dining experience here! Everything was superb. One of the best restaurants I have been to in a long time! I would highly recommend it!
