Alice Springs Golf Club

Very surprised by the restaurant. I expected a posh place, but it was more like a street café, but after I said I knew where I was no more than it was. That's not a criticism, it's my mind working on it. Good menu cheap. Friendly staff. Fast on the table, delicious food. Thank you. Team Golf Club

A real hidden jewel. A beautifully maintained golf course with amazing backdrops of rock formations. A very beautiful club and great exercise area. A must.

Visited Alice Springs for the week and took my son and his partner to the golf club for dinner last night. It was Parma night. Great views to the golf club, the staff is very friendly, but although the chicken parma were cooked nicely, they were...with oil that had cooked fish. That stained the parma that made it impossible. We noticed that none of the diners had eaten their parmas with us.

A few people recommended the restaurant in the golf club as the best place for dinner in Alice Springs. I don't know what they think because it's not. The dining room is a large plan, brightly illuminated room that has no charm, whatever. Maybe it was better to be on the veranda, but that was booked for a private function. The food itself was solid pub fare essbar, but not very interesting.

Wish I had a chance to play. Looked ok. Looks like a public course in Sydney, similar to Fairfield. Great service.
