La Tavernetta - Craven

Last night we had an absolutely fantastic meal! This is my favourite restaurant and I wanted to take our annual Dad 's Christmas night out there, to show them how good it is, and it didn 't disappoint. They were wonderfully accommodating of our group which was full of Christmas cheer (and a bit of boisterous enthusiasm apologies for that! . The service was friendly, patient and efficient. The cooking, was, as I complimented to the very hardworking chef, 'off the scale . My Nduja infused pasta (orecchiette was umami heaven, and the chicken with chestnuts and Marsala sauce was one of the best mains I 've eaten for a long time. The combination of flavours was perfect. In fact, the 'hybrid ' English Christmas/Italian specials menu was so tempting I would have liked to try everything on there. Thank you for a special night and I will be back soon, as I suspect will a number of my friends.

What a gem! An amazing cosy restaurant with high quality, well presented authentic food. If I lived nearer, I would go every week! Lovely staff and excellent service. Highly recommended.

We both had a smashing night food was fab couldn't fault anything, drinks reasonably priced we had garlic mushrooms on brusceta and chicken wings starter and meat ball tagliatelli and pasta carbonara beltin

Fantastic-highly recommended. The food was beautiful-so tasty, authentic Italian. Great atmosphere in such a tiny restaurant-we have just returned from Italy and it felt as if we were back there! We had burrata, pizza, pasta, seafood-everything was great! Lovely friendly staff. Would suggest you book ahead as places are limited. Overall…..fantastic!

We were recommended to come here while on holiday in Ingleton. Such lovely food and great atmosphere. Shame we were not here longer as we would have come back. We could literally have been in Italy!
