Przekaż informację zwrotnąI've been going to this location for a while now. It has never been great, and rarely bad. Maybe because it is not busy, but everything in there is so clean now. There use to be issues with the bathrooms and some of the benches, but now it is so well kept. There is new staff which seem energized and happy. And the old staff that use to serve me and my family seem more upbeat. Our meals arrive quicker and we have multiple people ask how we are doing. The older servers know our orders, which is nice. It's fun to tease the new ones. If you had been scorned before, I recommend giving it another chance.
We loved Swiss Chalet when it was located in Maple Ridge. We have since been to this restaurant in Port Coquitlam a few times over the last year and try and be optimistic that the service would improve, it hasn't. I will say that this last trip we did have a polite server, such a change from prior visits.Waited over 40 minutes for 2 quarter chicken dinners and the restaurant was pretty much empty. Since the chicken is always precooked and we both had fries I have no idea why food was slow leaving the kitchen.The food is average Swiss Chalet food, nothing about average but on all visits the fries always have come out cold and have had to send them back. Once we were offered dessert because we had been there so long. Now I think it is such a regular occurrence that management just no longer cares.
I normally love Swiss Chalet- this was not the case. We were seated promptly And that's kind of where positive experience ends. It took nearly 10 minutes to get a drink- the food came back 25 minutes thereafter and was not hot. I was so hungry we ate and left Really feel cheated .
Other than a very big serving of chicken soup the rest of the meals we got were just ok.there was a special chicken, marinara, with cheese sandwich that both my husband and got. The sauce was cold, no flavour and the fries that were served with the sandwich were so over cooked you couldn't eat them. they did take that charge off the bill - THANKS! If our server would have come back to see hour our meals were at an appropriate time I would have asked for new ones but by the time we'd almost finished I really didn't want new ones.A big new restaurant - not many customers
We took some friends (one visiting from Asia ) along with our family including grandparents. Food took over an hour to arrive at table; was bland tasteless and blah. None of us were happy with quality or flavour AT ALL- plus it was overpriced! Total let down. Do not go it's a waste of time/tastebuds/and money. Yuck!
