Sushi Oyama - Coquitlam

Service was definitely mediocre, it took awhile for our order to be taken, and they forgot my miso... but the sushi was fresh, the rice was sticky and the hot sauce was great.

One of the better sushi restaurants in Coquitlam. Big menu with lots of choices. Good portion. Great service. Recently updated their menu and added a few items. The restaurant is big, good for group dinner.

I like their special rolls, my fav are Sound Trap Roll and Red dragon rolls. I like the new addition of aburi sushi on their menu as well. This is my favorite sushi place in the neighborhood. They offer free miso for pick up orders $15. The only dish I didn't really like was the seafood yakiudon.

Lots of options and specials! The sushi is very good and very fresh. The service isn't the best. We waited a long time for our bill. Prices are fair. It's not very private the way it's set up, but certainly aesthetically pleasing.

The service staff sucks big time..they are very poor at customer service..they need training big time...they bring one item at a time for the people at the table while others wait..they are very uncoordinated for serving food...one big guy is not very pleasant...Wonders around...the lady staff are more pleasant...food is not bad..sushi rolls are too large.....give the food a 3.5 out 5....
