They had a few British beers on draft, and it was nice to enjoy this to stay on theme. The menu is not very large, which is beautiful, because they seem to focus on what they offer and do well. The beerbatter fish chips are delicious. The dough is not greasy and the fish is beautiful and flocky. Not muddy or hard. We had the Sheppard Pie chips that made a funny turn on the classic. It is the normal filling on a basket of frits (chips). The meat and alice cake was great. Savory and sewn to perfection. The cattle sheds were tender and the severity was a good consistency to mix with the potatoes. Both children tried and loved it. A child has the little Ben Hamburger and it didn't last. I am sad that this place does not come closer to me as it is prepared to show football matches regularly with 2 projectors/screens. Looks like a good place to see a game.
Here came for the Bangers and Mash!! Potatoes were creamy. My bangers were pollinated in creamy onion sauce with green peas. The criminals were juicy and juicy. Everything tasted fresh. One in this dish is that I can enjoy the taste 2 days later. Place is small, but accomodating. The staff is very friendly. So for now these are the best färgers and Maische hands down!!!
This small restaurant and bar features additional outdoor seating and offers a menu predominantly focused on gluten-free options. We tried the Fish and Chips (delicious!), Shepherd's Pie (a bit bland), Reese's Peanut Butter Pie (incredibly rich), and Rhubarb Crumble Cheesecake (I’m glad we got this to-go so I could dive right into the Rhubarb and skip the crumbs). It was wonderful to enjoy roasted fish and cheesecake that brought back memories of my pre-gluten-free life. I didn’t want to risk figuring out what I could eat without getting sick. Just a heads-up: if you're not used to fried foods like fish or desserts such as cheesecake, you might feel it afterward. I wish this place were closer, but I definitely plan to return!
I decided to try this restaurant because it was nearby and had a dog-friendly terrace. I was not disappointed. The service was fantastic and very friendly. The food was incredibly delicious—I had the beef stew with potatoes, which was truly worth licking the plate for! For dessert, I had the rhubarb crumb cheesecake, and it was absolutely delightful. I can only say that you absolutely must eat here!
This charming little restaurant offers a delightful array of flavors and dishes inspired by British cuisine. The ambiance is a bit dim, but the illuminated Big Ben centerpiece adds a lovely touch. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious dishes we tried. The bangers and mash featured a heavenly combination of umami-packed meatballs, velvety mashed potatoes, pickled onions, and a sauce that I can’t quite identify. The bubble and squeak dish is like a chicken pot pie served in a soft potato cake, topped with a perfectly cooked over-easy yolk and fresh greens. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience! 11/17/2021
